A 20/20 Vision of Hispanic America
For over 25 years, John Quiñones has worked as a co-anchor and correspondent for “Primetime” and “20/20.” Quiñones also anchored a critically acclaimed ABC News special called “Latin Beat,” which focused on the impact of the recent population explosion and how it will affect the nation as a whole. More recently, Quiñones’ work includes hosting the “Primetime” series “What Would You Do?” This series tests human reactions through a hidden camera as they face real-time ethical and moral dilemmas. Other recent work includes following Mexican immigrants attempting to cross into the United States, polygamous marriages in northern Arizona, and suicide bombers in Israel. Quiñones is also the author of Heroes Among Us.
John Quinones received a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication from St. Mary’s University and received a master’s degree from Columbia University's School of Journalism.
