From student events and academic activities to the performing arts and athletic competitions, @UD is the campus hub where you can find everything happening at the University of Delaware.
The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop entitled “Introduction to Film and Video Collection Resources” during the 2012 Spring semester focusing on film and video resources and services related to classroom instructional support and research. The workshop will provide an overview of film and video resources and services available at the University of Delaware Library. The following questions will be addressed within the workshop:
How can more media be incorporated into teaching?
What films and videos are available for class viewing?
How can videos be checked out and scheduled for future use in my class?
The workshop will begin with a tour of the Film and Video Collection Department facilities which include viewing carrels, a viewing room, the collections area and the Media Research Room. Participants will be shown how to search the collection in DELCAT and WorldCat Local and will be given an online tour of the Film and Video website. (It should be noted that the workshop does not cover services and resources offered by the Student Multimedia Design Center.)
