Saturday Symposium - Celebrating William Shakespeare

Join UD Alumni and Friends for a celebration of William Shakespeare. The day begins with dynamic lectures by two eminent Shakespearean scholars who will talk about Hamlet and the history of Shakespeare’s popularization in America. These sessions will be followed by a catered lunch and then a visit to the University of Delaware Library for an up-close look at the library’s collection of rare Shakespearean books, spanning 400 years of publication history. The day concludes with a matinee performance of Hamlet by the university’s Resident Ensemble Players.
