About this Event
591 Collaboration Way, Newark, DE 19713
https://conta.cc/421H5v2This K-12 Delaware educational conference--offered with tracks specifically tailored for elementary and secondary school teachers-- is produced annually by the Lerner College Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship. It is hosted as an in-person offering, providing powerful content and engaging methods that help drive students to learn economics.
Educators may choose to follow either a tailored track of four specific sessions each, or select from among any of the 50-minute concurrent sessions, led by regional experts and master teachers.
Participants will also have an opportunity to engage online with other Delaware teachers and enjoy a mid-day keynote presentation.
More info on the concurrent sessions that participants may select from and registration link can be found at https://conta.cc/421H5v2.
Presenters will model how to effectively bring personal finance and economics to life in the Delaware classroom, teaching participants how to implement vetted and interactive econ simulations that drive student learning. Teachers will take away ready-to-go lesson plans, along with the confidence needed to successfully deliver them in the classroom.
5 clock hours awarded.
At this conference, the Bonnie T. Meszaros Economic Educator of the Year will be presented to a Delaware K-12 classroom teacher.
