  • Vermiculture or vermicomposting is a year-round way to gather a terrific garden amendment for your soil. Some call it “WORM POOP” and it is teeming with biology that plants want and need to make strong connection with the soil. Worms are simple creatures that need oxygen, food, and a comfy space to live. This workshop will show you how to get started with a worm bin, container, bedding, food scraps, grit sources, and the type of worm to use in our climate.

These programs are brought to you in part by University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, a service of the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, a land-grant institution.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider. If you need a reasonable accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact Carrie Murphy at cjmurphy@udel.edu.
