DESCRIPTION:Delaware 7th grade economics teachers are invited to attend thi
 s professional development offered by the Center for Economic Education & 
 Entrepreneurship.\n\n \n\n \n\nVirtual instruction is scheduled for Januar
 y 26\, 2023 from 4 pm - 5 pm..  \n\n \n\n \n\nThis training will provide t
 eachers with an overview of the brand new macroencomomics model lessons de
 veloped for 7th grade Economics in Delaware. The lessons include culturall
 y responsive and inclusive instructional materials and assessments that ar
 e aligned to the Delaware State Social Studies Standards in Economics.\n\n
  \n\n \n\nThe lessons are designed specifically to: reflect diverse cultur
 es and voices of marginalized people\; include culturally authentic learni
 ng experiences\; highlight contributions and include texts reflective of t
 he diverse identities of students\; and target disciplinary literacy. We w
 ill concentrate both on the Economics content and the activities and strat
 egies in the lessons to teach that content to 7th graders.\n\n \n\n \n\nPr
