- 'The Misadventures of Peter Rabbit in Farmer McGregor's Garden' Puppet Show - 11:00a.m.
Mini Workshop Descriptions
- 10:30 a.m. - Fall Clean-up and Looking Toward Spring - Discussion and recommendations on what can be done to clean up from fall and prepare for spring. The focus will be flower beds and lawns.
- 11:00 a.m. - Planting Spring Bulbs in your Fall Container - Demonstration on how to plant a container for fall that will also bloom in the Spring.
- 11:30 a.m. - Propagating Hydrangeas - Several methods of propagating hydrangeas will be presented
- 12:00 p.m. - Mosquito Buckets - Learn how to reduce the number of mosquitos in your landscape with this simple method.
- 12:30 p.m. - Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge - The primary vision of Prime Hook is wildlife management. The 10,000-acre refuge also provides a multitude of other environmental benefits due to its vast marsh lands, wetlands, meadows and forested areas. This mini workshop will focus on some of the ways that the public can visit and enjoy Prime Hook throughout the year.
