About this Event
This session is headlined by José Antonio Bowen, co-author of Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning. José offers that using AI is like being an executive chef. You need to know how to cook and you make all the decisions and do the verification. AI is like a Chef de Cuisine who creates assignments for your RAs or agents (your Sous Chef). For example, you can now safely set up an AI app on your own device and write a “skill” that will automatically take any link or citation you give it and (a) verify it, (b) make sure it is not a duplicate, (c) add it to your bibliography, (d) add comments in the right places in the appropriate chapters in your book for you to find when you are next working on that section, and/or (e) update your slides, website or drafts. AI agents can find and assemble massive data sets in any language and then de-dup, cross-reference, tag or build visualizations while you sleep. Here is time and guidance for you to set up a new research workflow.
A smart device is recommended to explore free AI tools and resources during the interactive session.
