Our organization on campus, Active Minds, will be hosting Greg Vogt, a nationally recognized Professional Mental Health Speaker with Active Minds

We believe this event is an amazing opportunity for the University and we want to take advantage of it. Active Minds is a growing movement. Alison Malmon founded Active Minds in 2003 after losing her only brother, Brian, to suicide while he was away at college at the University of Pennsylvania.

About the Speaker:
Greg Vogt joins us from Sacramento, California, where he also serves as the Director of Clinical Outreach at Charlie Health, a national mental health treatment program for adolescents, teens, and young adults. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Greg is the author of The Battle Against Yourself, a powerful memoir about his personal mental health journey. His advocacy work has reached schools, universities, and workplaces nationwide, inspiring communities to prioritize mental health and support one another. Greg works to Normalize the conversation about mental health, empower students to help others, and foster a culture of hope, empathy, and connection.
