University of Delaware Campus Recreation offers select American Red Cross certification courses to students, faculty and staff.  Taught using hybrid formats, participants complete online modules prior to in-class sessions at the Carpenter Sports Building.

Using a blended learning format, participants complete an online training prior to attending the 2.5-hour in-class session.

  • Online content will be sent to participants after registration closes, and it must be completed prior to the in-person class. Participants who do not complete the online content will not be able to partake in the in-person class, and will not receive a refund.

  • This course is available for students, faculty, and staff of the University of Delaware. Certification courses are not open to the public.

  • Registration closes five days before the course date.

  • To receive the certification, participants must remain present for the duration of the in-class session and demonstrate proficiency in the skills. Certification is valid for 2 years.
