Celebrating Black History Month Through Story, Voice, and Community
The African American Read-In is a community-centered program celebrating Black History Month by uplifting African American voices, stories, and lived experiences. Students are invited to read short excerpts from their favorite works by African American authors and share why those selections are meaningful to them.
This event centers storytelling, reflection, and connection, creating a supportive, affirming space for students to engage with literature, identity, and history.
🍽️ Lunch is provided for registered participants
Students who register by Monday, February 23, will have the opportunity to select their individual catered lunch from Bavarian Bakery.
