While artificial intelligence stands as the 21st century's most potent technological disruptor, its integration into academia not only presents unparalleled opportunities but significant challenges. It has the potential to enhance core university missions of teaching and research as well as challenges surrounding misinformation threats, concerns about equity, intellectual property and undermining critical thinking.

Join Laura Carlson, provost and professor of psychological and brain sciences, and Matthew Kinservik, vice provost for faculty affairs and professor of English, to survey the national landscape to see how public research universities are responding to the moment. Together, you will consider how UD can promote the AI literacy of our students and harness AI's transformative power responsibly.
