Anthropology Club Info Session
Welcome to the Anthropology Club at the University of Delaware. Anthropology is the study of human culture and its variations, past and present. The Anthropology Club’s mission is to foster community within our department’s student body and offer unique academic opportunities.
Past events have included movie nights featuring films with anthropological themes, celebrating the annual American Anthropological Association's Anthro Day with kiosks in Trabant with free merch, and hosting guest lecturers. Once classes started remotely, we watched movies together online. Our most recent was Indiana Jones, after which we discussed its archaeological inaccuracies and ethical issues. Although this semester will be online, we will have a wonderful year of learning and growing together!
Join us for information sessions on Monday, August 31 at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 to learn more about what Anthropology Club is all about and what we have planned for this year!
