D rawing on a key strength of the collection\, the exhibition highlights wor ks built through accumulation\, juxtaposition and transformation. \n\n \n\ nOn view are compositions that bring together found objects and repurposed imagery with hand-rendered marks\, creating layered works that engage que stions of authorship\, memory and meaning. These visual exchanges between the handmade and the sourced invite close looking and reflection on how ar tists construct new narratives from existing materials. \n\nThe installati on includes works long used in teaching\, including those by David Driskel l and Sam Gilliam\, alongside works not exhibited in recent years. It also introduces recent acquisitions\, including collages by Phoebe Beasley\, J ohn Digby\, and Theodore A.
