Basic Composting
An Introduction to Composting with Master Gardener and Composter, Gail Hermenau
Want to start a compost pile in your backyard or community garden? This introductory workshop will help you get started. You will learn the basic requirements to start and maintain a compost pile, the dos and don’ts, and which system is right for you. Once you are on your way to composting, you can reap all of the benefits of using compost in your garden!
This workshop is offered in partnership with the Food Bank of Delaware.
