Books will be available for purchase during the event. Books purchased prior to 5:15pm will be signed by the author. Information will be available at the event.
Julie Carrick Dalton (AS '92) is the author of The Last Beekeeper and Waiting for the Night Song, a CNN, USA Today, Newsweek, and Parade Most Anticipated novel. With a background in journalism, agriculture, and beekeeping, she is a frequent speaker at universities, museums, libraries, and conferences on the topic of fiction in the age of climate crisis. Her writing has appeared in The Boston Globe, BusinessWeek, The Hollywood Reporter, Orion, and numerous other publications. An alum of Bread Loaf, Tin House, and GrubStreet's Novel Incubator, Julie will be joining Drexel's MFA in Creative Writing faculty in 2024. She is currently working on a new novel slated for publication in 2025.
