Carol Mancusi-Ungaro (Associate Director for Conservation and Research, Whitney Museum of American Art) will present “Beyond the Image: Materiality and Meaning” as part of the 2019-2020 Lecture Series. Mancusi-Ungaro will discuss how the evolution of cultural values and technological possibilities make the conservation of contemporary art complex and challenging.
