  of Bioengineering at Temple University. Her primary research focuses on e
 ngineering education and curricular assessment with a specific focus on de
 sign thinking process engineering teams\, and student engagement and motiv
 ation at the undergraduate level. This research area has garnered several 
 publications\, and she has been an invited speaker at recent regional and 
 national meetings. She serves as a program evaluator and Engineering Accre
 ditation Commissioner for ABET. She is a Fellow of the Biomedical Engineer
 ing Society (BMES) and the American Institute for Medical and Biological E
 ngineering (AIMBE). She serves on many committees at her institution and p
 rofessional societies.
