Artist and UD MFA candidate Brandan Henry has organized an exhibition that asks an international group of Black artists to reflect on the children’s books that caught and influenced their early imaginations. How did we learn to find our way in the darkness? Eight artists respond in Breadcrumbs, considering and re-interpreting their creative foundations and the long-lasting impact of the imagery and fables of childhood.
