Bringing in the Bystander®

Bringing in the Bystander® is a 2 hour workshop that introduces students to the bystander approach to sexual violence prevention, helps them to recognize situations that are troubling on a continuum, equips them with the skills necessary to intervene safely and effectively, and builds empathy towards survivors. The program contributes to a safer UD by promoting the message that everyone in the community has a role to play in ending sexual violence. This program includes sensitive content and could be triggering for people who have experienced trauma. Participants are encouraged to actively take care of themselves.
