The Asian & Pacific Islander Student Association (APSA), alongside the Lavender Programming Board (LPB), Student Diversity & Inclusion, and Student Wellbeing, will be hosting an APIDA Heritage Month Keynote Speaker event featuring Alok Vaid-Menon on Wednesday, May 10 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the Trabant Theater. 

We are privileged to have ALOK (they/them), an acclaimed gender non-conforming writer, speaker, comedian, and poet. As mixed-media artist, their work explores themes of trauma, belonging, and the human condition.
