Census Data for Grant Writing
Incorporating data in your grant proposal is essential. Census databases provide a wealth of statistical data, including demographic, educational, housing and financial information on regional and national levels, which you can assess and integrate into your grant writing.
In this workshop, discover which census databases you can use to support grant applications, how you can use the cloud-based data and mapping platform PolicyMap to assess data, and how Foundation Center resources can help you to identify funders.
Data Dissemination Specialist Noemi Mendez of the U.S. Census Bureau; Associate Librarian John Stevenson, interim head of the Multimedia Collections and Services Department; and Librarian Carol Rudisell, head of the Reference and Instructional Services Department, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to the public, as well as UD students, faculty and staff. Registration is required as space is limited.
