Michael SHAPIRO: Score to Frankenstein

Are you ready for a frightful night of mad science, monsters, music and a movie? Come join the UD Chamber Orchestra in their presentation of James Whale’s 1931 film, Frankenstein, with a live orchestral accompaniment featuring Michael Shapiro’s thrilling musical score.

Commissioned in 2001 by the Chappaqua Orchestra’s Boris Koutzen Memorial Fund, Shapiro’s work has since received over 40 performances worldwide. Come enjoy this visual and aural treat on Halloween night as our UD School of Music students bring the score to life!

Cost

Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for seniors, UD staff, faculty and alumni; and $5 for children and students. All UD students are admitted to concerts free of charge and can obtain tickets online at www.bluehens.com/student or at the door on a space available basis, with their UD ID.
