Want to learn about resources on UD campus to support STEM instruction? Come to our event CHARMed by STEM: Science Kits at TCS on November 14th from 5:30 - 7:30pm.
Our event aims to support K-12 STEM education in Delaware by offering a hands-on exploration of STEM teaching kits from the College of Engineering Lending Library. Each kit is stored on campus and is available to borrow to use in the classroom. Kits are stocked with supplies for a class and lesson plans for teachers.
We seek to equip educators with engaging, accessible tools that promote scientific and critical thinking in classrooms. Participants will gain insight into resources that are available for fostering a love for STEM in students, preparing them to become leaders in dynamic, inquiry-based learning environments. Participants will rotate through 8 available kits, learning more about the specifics of each kit's contents.
Doors open at 5pm and light refreshments will be provided. Registration for this event is required. Please follow the link on the flyer or click here to register.
