Staying Woke about Sexual Assault in an Era of Non-stop Public Discourse

This year has been heavy with public and media focus on sexual assault with the spotlighted #metoo movement, docuseries & documentaries like Surviving R. Kelly and Leaving Neverland, the Kavanaugh hearings, and the current political climate.  We are reaching the end of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  In an effort to promote self-care and provide a safe space to process, this event is intended to allow participants an opportunity to talk about what it’s like to be a survivor, an advocate, an activist, and/or a human being in the current climate.  Sponsored by Sexual Offense Support (S.O.S.)
