##UDel #UDMFA #Newark #Art #ArtistsExhibition: Colors, Land, and Building: Old College and Delaware
Join us on February 18 at the University of Delaware for an unforgettable celebration of art, performance, and collaboration!
Colors, Land, and Building: Old College and Delaware features works by eight MFA students from the Department of Art and Design: Emmanuel Aboagye, Timothy Carr, Zoe Elwood, Anna Freeman, Candy F. Frimpong, Yoosef Mohamadi, Mikhail Shulga, and Moones Zeydabadi. Their pieces explore themes of place, identity, and transformation, reflecting the history and evolving landscape of Old College and Delaware.
This exhibition is part of the larger Old College project, including the main exhibition Colors of Old College, opening the same evening to celebrate the building’s cultural and artistic significance. Together, these exhibitions highlight the relationship between art, architecture, and community.
The evening begins at 4:30 PM in the Recitation Hall Gallery with an opening reception, where you can meet the artists and engage with their work. At 5:00 PM, the event continues in Old College with Colors of Old College and live performances by students from the Departments of Theatre, Dance, and Music, offering dynamic interpretations of the exhibition’s themes.
Curated by Associate Professor Blažo Kovačević, this event blends innovative research and creative expression across disciplines.
