The Community Development Institute (CDI) Mid-Atlantic certificate program is offered through the Biden School at the University of Delaware. Through a comprehensive, applied approach to community and economic development, CDI advances individual and community leadership skills.

Regular registration rate of $600 available from February 1, 2025 to March 9, 2025
Late registration fee of $650 available from March 10, 2025 to March 28, 2025   (registration deadline)

​​​The mission of CDI is to empower people with the knowledge and skills necessary to proactively​ improve the physical and human resources of their communities, thereby increasing the quality of life for all citizens.

​The CDI program consists of three, four-day training sessions which can be completed in subsequent years at the same site location or by fast-tracking to multiple sites within the CDI network in a single year or more.
