Join the Mission to Clean Delaware’s Inland Bays!
Delaware Sea Grant and the University of Delaware are hosting a two-day hands-on training and removal event focused on locating and retrieving derelict crab pots. Learn how to use side-scan sonar, safely retrieve gear, and collect important data—then head out independently to continue the effort! After the event, volunteers who independently remove 10 or more derelict crab pots by March 31, 2026, and submit data will receive a thank-you gift card for their efforts. You’ll be trained, equipped, and supported to keep making an impact all year long!
