About this Event
When applying for funding, researchers are often required to submit a data management plan with their applications. These plans can help ensure your data is well managed and organized throughout your project and preserved for long-term use.
During this workshop, discover how to write a data management plan and how to use the DMP Tool, an online system designed to assist you in writing your plan, to make the process easier. You will learn about best practices and have the opportunity to find your specific funder’s requirements and use the correct template in the tool.
Sarah E. Katz, health science librarian, and Daniel Peart, data services librarian, will lead the workshop.
This virtual workshop is open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the Graduate College and the Research Office. Those doing grant-funded research are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive an email with details on how to join the workshop via Zoom. The workshop will not be recorded.
This workshop is part of the digital badge for Research Data Management. You do not need to be enrolled in the digital badge program to attend the workshop, though you are welcome to register for it if you would like to participate and earn the digital badge.
