The Delaware Bankers Association, in partnership with the University of Delaware’s Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, will award two (2) $2,500 scholarships to students enrolled in a Personal Finance course this school year (such as Keys to Financial Success).

WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Delaware students enrolled in grades 9-12 who will complete their Personal Finance course during the 2026- 2027 school year are eligible. The Personal Finance course must be aligned with the Delaware High School Financial Literacy Standards.

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?

Fall Semester Students: December 18, 2026 (recommended)

Spring Semester Students: April 9, 2027, at 10 a.m. (final deadline)

All essays must be received by Thursday, April 9, 2027, 10a.m., to be considered for the contest.

All essays will be reviewed together, and scholarship recipients will be announced spring 2027.
