Free EventTeacher registration is now open for the Delaware High School Personal Finance Challenge!
High School teams are invited to vie for the Delaware Personal Finance Challenge state championship title this spring. The high school championship will be held in-person on April 16, 2025, providing the opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of personal finance by competing with other students across the state.
The PFC is open to qualifying teams taking any course (including the CEEE's Keys to Financial Success) that incorporates personal finance topics such as: Earning Income & Protecting and Insuring, Using Credit & Buying Goods and Services, and Saving & Financial Investing.

Following the online testing round which runs March 3 - 28, 2025, each registered high school teacher will have the opportunity to advance one team of four students to the in-person state championship where teams will vie for cash prizes, to be awarded to both first- and second-place teachers and students.
High school personal finance teachers interested in participating in this annual contest should contact the CEEE's Gail Colbert at gcolbert@udel.edu.
The winning team from the State Finals will be invited to compete in the National Semi-Finals, from which the top-scoring teams advance to compete for the National Title where cash prizes again will be awarded to student teams finishing first thru third.
The University of Delaware may capture images of the event. By participating in this event, you grant the University of Delaware permission to publish or display photography or video images of you. Images may be used in any promotional material, publications, or other applications.
