A day-long event for Delaware schoolteachers and administrators focused on the Delaware Digital Citizenship Education Act of 2022. Sponsored by then State Senator Sarah McBride, the law requires Delaware K-12 schools to provide age-appropriate content on online safety, digital citizenship, and information literacy. Presenters from UD and the Department of Education will share resources and strategies to help educators fulfill the requirements of the law.
Teachers receive 7 professional development hours for their participation, and lunch is provided.
