 tes and their families\n\n \n\nABOUT THE PROGRAM\n\nFollowing a careful me
 al plan is the first step managing diabetes and keeping blood sugars\na th
 erapeutic range. This is also the hardest step in diabetes management. Din
 ing with Diabetes helps by teaching persons with diabetes ways to reduce s
 ugar\, salt\, and fat in foods\, without giving up good taste.  The progra
 m is designed for people with diabetes and their family members. The five-
  lass series includes diabetes education\, cook demonstrations\, and tasti
 ng of healthy foods. after each lesson\, participants will take home recip
 es and knowledge about how to manage diabetes in their daily lives.\n\nPAR
 TICIPANTS\nPeople with diabetes and their family members\, caregivers\, an
 d support persons can enroll in Dining with Diabetes. But anyone\, with or
  without diabetes\, can attend. This program is designed to complement\, n
 ot replace\, diabetes management classes.\n\nINSTRUCTORS\n\nClasses are ta
 ught by University of Delaware Cooperative Extension staff.\n\nWHAT TO EXP
