DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE PROGRAM\n\nFollowing a careful meal plan is the first
  step in managing diabetes and keeping blood sugars in a therapeutic range
 .  It is also the hardest step.  Dining with Diabetes helps by teaching pe
 ople with diabetes ways to reduce sugar\, salt and fat in foods without gi
 ving up good taste.\n\nPARTICIPANTS\n\nPeople with diabetes and their fami
 ly members\, caregivers and support persons can enroll in Dining with Diab
 etes.  Anyone\, with or without diabetes\, can attend.  This program is de
 signed to complement\, not replace\, diabetes management classes.\n\n \n\n
 INSTRUCTORS\n\nClasses are taught by University of Delaware Cooperative Ex
