Abstract
What does it take to transition a financial software company from a legacy monolithic application running on the mainframe to thousands of independent micro services running in the cloud? This talk will explore what it takes to build the software infrastructure required to pull off a technical renaissance within a large enterprise. You will learn how we built FactSet.io, an internal Platform as a Service, from the ground up: its evolving architecture, improving productivity through agile techniques, and the struggle to instigate change in a large enterprise.
