About this Event
Evans Hall, University of Delaware, Newark, DE 19716, USA
Aaron Spock started his first company in high school, manufacturing and selling custom LED boxes for music enthusiasts, in conjunction with a clothing brand that utilized a local prison reform program. With his wide interests in business and fashion, he grew his clothing brand into a full-time endeavor while also selling sneakers on the side. He began studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Delaware and interned with Delmarva Power, NAVSEA Navy, and Mag Aerospace during summers. He accepted a position at Lockheed Martin, where he rose to a Level 2 software position in only a year. Currently, he is developing a verification company utilizing patent-pending blockchain technology to track the ownership of limited-edition sneakers to the initial point of authentication. Kickd is able to create an immutable record of the authentication process, ensuring that the sneakers' authenticity can be verified at any time. His company, Kickd, has attracted the interest of Nike, as well as large Philadelphia-based boutique sneaker stores.
Please come out for a great discussion and lunch!
