Economics for 3rd Grade: Professional Development for DE Teachers

This is a past event

Delaware third grade teachers are invited to attend this virtual professional learning opportunity where they will receive methods and resources to help effectively implement economics in their elelmeantary school classroom.

A virtual variation of our very popular Economics for Kids program, Economics for Third Grade explores grade-level appropriate children’s books and videos that teachers can use to teach economic concepts to students. Developed with teacher input and field-tested in third grade classrooms, the lessons will focus on barter, and characteristics and functions of money, addressing Delaware's third grade prioritized Economic Standard 2.

Participants will be given links to supporting videos and will be mailed a copy of the book No Money? No Problem! to which all lessons refer.

Professional development credit (1 hr.) will be awarded.

Zoom link will be forwarded upon registration. Registration link found below.
