UD alumni Shaun Zetlin discusses how fitness can help heal anxiety, depression, stress and trauma. The author of Emotional Fitness will demonstrate a "new gym bag" that offers master mantras, emotional guidance techniques and a deeper understanding of someone's "why!" 

Learn how movement can produce a calming and exhilarating effect on multiple levels as you begin to release your own emotions. Shaun will demonstrate a combination of emotional and physical exercises to help you to empower yourself emotionally through exercise. When you embrace fitness as a means of feeling more open emotionally, then your workouts -- and life -- can reach an entirely new level of freedom! 

 

About the Speaker

Shaun Zetlin is a former UD English major (2002) and a master fitness trainer, author, motivational speaker and CEU provider to other fitness professionals. He has run his health and fitness business in the NYC Metro Area for the past 21 years and is a five-time Best of Brooklyn’s Best Personal Trainer Winner (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). Shaun is the author of the Push-up Progression book series and Emotional Fitness, for which he is currently touring throughout the Northeast.
