Diwali is one of the most significant Indian festivals that is celebrated all around the world. It symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”. The Indian graduate student association (IGSA) is organizing “Festival of Lights: Diwali 2022” on 23rd October at 7 PM in West Lounge, Perkins Student Center. This celebration will be open to Indians and non-Indians, students, faculty, and families here at UD. The celebration will begin with a welcome/inauguration, speeches, and cultural performances for the first 2 hours, followed by music, dance, and authentic Indian food for dinner.
