You are cordially invited to a screening of 'Casablanca Beats' (dir. Nabil Ayouch, 2021). Anas, a former rapper, is hired to teach hip hop at a cultural center in an underprivileged neighborhood of Casablanca. Amidst the challenges of restrictive traditions and issues of identity, religion, and politics, Anas manages to inspire his students, fostering unity and self-expression.

The film is part of the 2025 Albertine Cinémathèque Film Festival. It will be presented with English subtitles and introduced by Dr. Ali Alalou.
