You are cordially invited a screening of 'Scarlet' (dir. Pietro Marcello, 2022). World War I veteran Raphaël returns home from the frontlines a widower and father to an infant daughter. Raised in rural Normandy, little Juliette grows into a headstrong young woman who dreams of greater possibilities. She seeks refuge in the nearby woods, where she meets a witch who promises scarlet sails will one day take her away from her village. 

The film is part of the 2025 Albertine Cinémathèque Film Festival. It will be presented with English subtitles and introduced by Laurène Tabouillot.
