 e prepared to roll up your sleeves for an up-close look at our honey bees 
 and our honey production!\n\nUD maintains approximately 60 honey bee colon
 ies which are used for teaching\, research\, and outreach\, as well as mak
 ing honey and other products of the hive. Come visit our on-campus teachin
 g apiary to see the hives in action!\n\nSessions will be offered at 12:30 
 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.\n \n\nLimited space availableChildren under 18 are welc
 ome and must be accompanied by an adultRecommended age for this experience
  is 10 years and olderHeld in a working apiary with bees and the potential
  for stings. Those with bee allergies should not attend.
