https://research.udel.edu/grant-writing-workshop/UD Research Office is hosting the biennial Grant Writing Workshopon January 30th, 2019. The workshop will be delivered by Grant Writers’ Seminars & Workshops, and the primary workshop presenter will beLauren Broyles, PhD. This workshop comprehensively addresses both practical and conceptual aspects important to the proposal-writing process. Emphasis is given to such things as idea development, identification of the most appropriate granting agency, how to write for reviewers, and tips and strategies that are of proven value in presenting an applicant’s case to reviewers. Regardless of the agency, participants will learn to write with a linear progression of logic, which leads reviewers through their applications. Strategies designed to merit a fundable priority score are emphasized.
Attendees will also hear from UD resource staff during lunch, and will be able to choose an agency-specific breakout session in the afternoon. Agencies covered during this day-long workshop include: USDA, NIH, NSF, NEA/NEH and IES. A workbook of participant’s choice is included with each registration. If you need additional workbooks, please contact the UD Research Development Officeby January 10th.
The workshop is jointly funded by the UD Research Office, Graduate and Professional Education, all seven Colleges, DE INBRE and DE-CTR ACCEL
