​Celebrate the release of UD’s student literary magazine, Caesura, a collection of short stories, poetry, creative nonfiction and artwork from undergraduate students. Student authors will read their work and guest judge James Allen Hall will present awards. A reception follows in the lobby of Memorial Hall.

Caesura and this evening’s event are possible through the generous support of the Gregory Family in honor of Elda Wollaeger Gregory’s love of creative writing.

Guest Judge: James Allen Hall, Associate Professor
of English at Washington College’s acclaimed
creative writing program and director of the Rose
O’Neill Literary House.

Hall is the author of poetry collections NOW YOU'RE THE ENEMY (2008)
and ROMANTIC COMEDY (2023) and a book of lyric personal essays, I LIKED YOU BETTER BEFORE I KNEW YOU SO WELL (2017).
