For this lecture and discussion, Dr. Roderick Carey will summon the recent energy pointed to discourses on mattering in social movements for Black lives and draw from psychological perspectives on mattering to argue that Black boys and yound men have yet to achieve comprehensive mattering in social and educational contexts.
