Hello traveler! Welcome to Hiking into Leadership! Come join me on the leadership trail where, through discussion and engaging activities, we will learn how the fundamentals of hiking, and the fundamentals of leadership are in many ways the same and why that is so important!

     There are many examples of leadership that we see everyday. Some you may notice, and some you may not. In this workshop, we will turn over every stone and climb every mountain to learn how hiking is a prime example of organized leadership! 

     If you have ever been on an organized hiking trip, you know that leading a team on the trail is not always as simple as starting and finishing. When hiking as a team, it is crucial to understand that being a leader is not about being in front, it is about taking care of your team.
