Mike Jason is currently Senior Vice President of Live Entertainment at StarVista Live and Managing Director of the StarVista Management Company.

In his Live Entertainment capacity, he curates and manages 10 highly successful, annual live music events and is in charge of developing new projects in a variety of music genres.

StarVista Management Company, launched earlier this year, is focused on the successful development of its artists’ entertainment careers supporting them in an ever changing cultural and technological landscape.

Mike combines a deep knowledge of multiple genres of music, influential relationships across several industries, a unique expertise in marketing and financial management, and a proven ability to put together world class management and production teams.

Under Mike’s stewardship, StarVista Live has grown into an industry leading themed music cruise company in less than a decade and recently added land-based events to the company’s growing portfolio.  A 2011 Grammy nominee (Hank Williams-The Complete Mother’s Best Recordings) in the Best Historical Album field, Mike has been involved with many award-winning artists and recordings including The Blind Boys of Alabama, Patty Loveless, Marc Cohn and Joan Osborne.

Prior to Time Life/StarVista Live, Mike held senior positions at Sanctuary Music Group, BMG Music/RCA Records and Inter-Continental Hotels and is presently working on a fictionalized account of the music business titled “#1 With a Bullet.”
