UD's Institute for Public Administration (IPA) has partnered with the Office of State Planning Coordination and the Delaware Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) to develop the IPA Planning Education Curriculum. This curriculum is explicitly targeted toward ensuring that local government officials and staff are well-versed in planning and zoning issues, both to meet their own needs and state requirements.

This training series will consist of the following courses:

• 10/14/25: Planning Commissioners Training
• 10/21/25: Planning 101
• 10/28/25: Land Use Administration
• 11/04/25: Land Use Law
• 11/18/25: Advanced Land Use Law

Classes start at $60 and $250 for the whole series.
