About this Event
Thursday, May 28, 2020, Leslie Cook, Kent County Master Gardener will present via ZOOM. Join us in learning about planting, maintaining, propagating, and preserving strawberries. Do you know the difference between June-bearing and everbearing strawberries, or what varieties grow best in Delaware? Do you know how to protect your plants from pests and disease? Strawberry plants can produce fruit for years if properly maintained. The workshop will include a demonstration on making strawberry jam to enjoy all winter long.
ZOOM login information will be provided to registered participants by email prior to the workshop. To register use this link: http://www.udel.edu/007167
This program is brought to you by University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, a service of the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources—a land-grant institution.
