View mapThe department of Physical Therapy is sponsoring a research symposium for the late Dr. John P. Scholz in memory of his many contributions to the University of Delaware. Dr. Scholz, former professor of physical therapy, was a dedicated physical therapist and renowned motor control expert with a passion for music and art.
UD friends and colleagues of Dr. Scholz are invited to attend this event. This year’s event features a memorial lecture on rehabilitation robotics titled “Humancentric Approach to Assistive Technology Development and Utilization.” The invited speakers are Dr. Michele Lobo, Assistant Professor, University of Delaware Department of Physical Therapy and Dr. Conor Walsh, John L. Loeb Associate Professor, Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Immediately following the lecture will be a musical program featuring the UD Neuro Notes Parkinson’s Choir and UDPT students. The program will also include a visual art display.
